Q: How much do you charge?
A: Minimum prices:
$600 for flash
$1000 for custom design
$3500 for private sessions (VIP)
An estimate of the project will be only discussed through email or if we are to meet in person.
The price is $250 per hour in CAD (taxes included) for large-scale project.

Q: How can I get an appointment?

Q: How can I pay for my tattoo?
A: At the studio, we accept cash, debit or credit cards. A sales tax may be added to the total if paid by cards.
Q: When are you coming to my city? Are you going to a convention close to me?
A: David doesn’t travel at the time being.
Q. Can you make a sketch of my tattoo before my appointment?
A: All sketches are done during the appointment, not prior.
Q: Will you do a cover-up/fix up of my existing tattoos ?
A: Sorry, David doesn’t do cover-ups or reworks.
Q: Where are you located?
A: David co-founded and works at Velours Studio, Montreal, Canada.
Q: Do you make all tattoo styles?
A: No. If you look through his portfolio, Instagram page, or Facebook page you will see examples of the style of tattoos that he’s happy to make on a day-to-day basis. If you have questions about this, just contact us, and we can help you with what you are looking for.
Q: Are there any topics David doesn’t like to tattoo?
A: Yes, he doesn’t feel comfortable tattooing the following: Disney/Anime characters, symbols/logos (with exceptions), lions, flowers (with exceptions), whole trees, script lettering, copied tattoos, micro tattoos (3” or less), watercolor tattoos, tattoos without black, tattoo cover-ups, adding on/extending existing tattoos, face/ear/behind ear/genital/lip tattoos, arm/wrist/ankle/leg bands.
Q: Why haven't you answered my email?
A: Due to the overwhelming demand, it's not always possible to reply to each email, but we do read every single one and extremely appreciate that you took the time to write me. Sorry if we don't get back. Feel free to submit a new idea if you haven’t heard from us in 2 months.

Q: When is your next opening?
A: David is booked more or less 6–10 MONTHS ahead (it can be longer for Saturdays). There are no open spots available prior to that (unless you book for a private session).

Q: Can you sketch me something, so I can get it done by another artist?

Can I steal a design from your page, so I can get it done by another artist?
A: Simply put, no and no. David’s sketches and designs are made to be tattooed by himself only.
It is important to have a certain amount of respect for any artist's work, as well as the client who is paying to get an original piece.
How much is the deposit?
A: A deposit of $200 is required to book an appointment (which will be taken off the final price at the end of the session). The deposit is non-refundable, no exception. To reschedule your appointment, it has to be done 5 days prior to your appointment day to avoid loosing your deposit.
