David Peyote

From the vibrant city of Montreal emerges David Peyote, an artist without boundaries. His journey of creativity began in the discipline of graphic design, where typography and grid systems changed his approached at seeing the world.

The year 2012 became a pivotal moment, marking his passage into the world of tattooing. With a distinctive style that marries the psychedelic with the surreal, David crafts tattoos that are vivid tapestries of both dark and bright colors. This eccentric flair has not only defined his craft but also paved the way for his presence in global guest spots and conventions, accruing features in a multitude of magazines, blogs, and TV shows.

His artistry took a melodious turn in 2015, adopting the musical alias, Dayside. More than a producer, he also finds joy in mixing music for various talented artists such as Mountain Head, King Melrose, J. Parker, Marvin Caleb, Patrik Kabongo, Brandon Barsoumian, Gioco and Celiya.

A new chapter unfolded in 2019 when David, alongside his partner Saska, founded Velours Studio. Based in Montreal’s up-and-coming neighborhood of Saint-Henri, Velours is more than a tattoo studio—it's a space where the tattoos, design, and music intersect.
